Two samples taken from an educational package for SPARC (Supporting Parents And Reciprocal Communication)
- a programme to help parents with the emotional and social development of their babies and young children.
SPARC is the brainchild of educational psychologist Janet Philpott and Di Pollitt, programme manager for SureStart.
The package was supplied to nurseries, playgroups, SureStart centres and schools in Teesside and it is
also hoped that it will be made available to other local authorities across the country.
